What is the Dashboard?
- The Dashboard is a quick way for you to see what survey opportunities are available to you at any time. Just click the "Qualify for a New Survey" button, answer a few quick questions, and based on your responses, we will route you into the most relevant survey available. This approach helps us to match you to the most appropriate survey, which will increase your chances of qualifying to earn IDGTechRewards. We also provide you with a quick snapshot of the rewards you've accumulated and an opportunity to let us get to know you better by filling out our profiles.
What are Profiles?
- Profiles are our way of creating the most relevant opportunities for our members. Telling us more about your experience and interests helps us send you surveys that you are more likely to qualify for, thereby increasing your chances of earning IDGTechRewards. Please take a few minutes to fill out our profiles so you can begin participating in the most rewarding surveys!
How do I update my account information?
- To update any of the basic information you provided us at registration, login to My Account and select the Account tab. Once you've updated your information, click "Update Account" and we will apply your changes. Keeping your e-mail address up to date allows us to contact you at the most convenient location.
How do I cancel my account?
- In the unfortunate event you decide IDG TechPanel is not for you, you can deactivate your account with us at any time. Log into My Account and you will find unsubscribe information at the bottom of the page. When you unsubscribe, we will instantly remove you from our systems and you will stop receiving communications from us. To reactivate your account, please e-mail your request to customer service and we will reinstate your account within 2 business days.

How long does it take to fill out a survey?
- We know your time is valuable, so we aim to keep most surveys between 15-20 minutes. There will be times we offer a shorter survey as well as a longer survey. To help you understand what time commitment is involved, we will always inform you of the expected time it will take to complete each survey up front.
How can I get more survey invitations?
- Each survey is based on your demographic data provided upon signup. Based on the needs of the survey, you may be contacted for a survey opportunity. Be sure to also check your spam folder and add support@IDGTechPanel.com to your approved senders list.
Why are some surveys more difficult than others?
- The criteria and content of each survey is determined by the needs of each specific client. As the nature of each survey is different, you will find that the experience is different. For instance, a quick survey to gather feedback on a new product release will be less onerous than a longer survey to review a new product ad. Completing the Profilers will help to ensure you receive surveys that are most enjoyable for you.
Who can I contact with a general question?
- If you have a general question that isn't addressed by the FAQs, you can contact our Customer Service team by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. All inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours.
What does it mean when my survey is pending?
- In order to ensure the integrity of our community and the quality of the information we give to our clients, we validate the results of each survey. Your survey will have a status of "pending" for a short time while we complete our validation. Upon completion of the validation, your status will change to "earned" and your reward will be credited to your account. This process can take a few days, or a few weeks depending on the nature of the survey.
Are there surveys available outside of the United States?
- IDGTechPanel is a new and growing international panel. We will have surveys that require the participation of our international panel members. If you are a member of the international community, you will be invited to applicable surveys as they arrive. We will continuously add more surveys for our international panel members.
What if a survey encountered a technical error?
- IDGTechPanel strives to ensure the best survey taking experience for our members, however there is always a chance that a technical error may occur. If your survey encounters an error, rest assured that our team will be investigating the issue with a focus on getting our members back up and running as soon as possible.

When can I cash out my earned rewards?
- The status of your rewards is always available to you via the Rewards tab in My Account. We provide you with an "Account Snapshot" that details what you've earned, how much you need to cash out and total pending. This is a quick and easy way for you to manage your reward profile.
Does IDG TechPanel offer rewards for referring new members?
- We currently do not offer a refer-a-friend program; however we may introduce an option in the future. If this option becomes available, we'll be sure to let you know!
How do I cash out?
- Once you have reached the minimum threshold required, a "Cash Out" button will appear on your Rewards tab. Simply click on the "Cash Out" button and you will be able to redeem your rewards. All redemptions will be fulfilled within 7-10 business days.
I am having issues cashing out.
- If you are having an issue cashing out, it may be caused by a browser compatibility issue. This can be easily addressed within a few minutes. If you encounter an issue, please contact us at support@IDGTechPanel.com.

How does it work?
Once you join, complete your profiles so we learn about your expertise and interests. When we have a survey we think is right for you, we'll notify you by e-mail. Qualify, complete the survey, and earm the cash reward, redeemable at one of our reward partners or you can choose to donate to charity.
